Seattle Market is Getting Hot!!!.....I HAVE AN IDEA
So, a few months ago I came across an app called Thumbtack and it completely changed my life......
I was listening to a BP podcast and heard a lady say she hired handymen off the app and it worked really well for her. I said to myself; self, you're pretty hand and you have been doing construction your whole life.... let's see if we can make some money with this app.........BOOM, it blew up. I put in my 2 weeks at my previous construction job and immediately started working for myself.
I literally 4x my income over night and the trajectory of my life has forever been changed.
The amount of GC work in the Seattle area is staggering and the Corona virus is making for a very interesting opportunity. I am a licensed, bonded, insured general contractor and I also have a real estate license💪. At the moment I am currently getting between 15 and 20 handyman/GC leads off of Thumbtack per day.... this is more work then I could ever handle and about 25% of the leads I get are from people who are about to sell, currently selling, about to buy or just bought their home. I am a licensed agent and I have other agents and homeowners calling me for the real estate related issues and inspection reports. Every time an agent calls me I ask myself; self, why aren't you selling that house for them and taking care of all the problems at the same time???
So, my idea is to capture these customers before they ever make it to the other real estate agent and to the market. I am going to run advertising on Google and FB targeting people who need to have small general contracting or handyman work done around there house. Advertise that we can get there house ready for inspection and sales anddddddd we can even bill them at escrow for all the repairs. It's perfect 🥰
I have enough money to run $150 a day in ppc and adds but I need someone to work with. I need a licensed agent who is familiar with a little construction to help me list the properties after repair. This agent will mostly deal with the customer relations and contract side of the deal and I'll mostly handle the construction/staging, hands on side of the deal. I would prefer a partner that is newer into real estate but has an investing mindset. This will also set us up for some very interesting flip opportunities that we 100% are going to take advantage of.
