Ygrene Question & Selling Home
Hello All!
I am writing this post to pose a question regarding the selling of a house that has a ygrene loan on it.
Currently, I got the AC Unit and duct worked replaced utilizing Ygrene which is a energy efficient home improvement platform that gives you the money up front to pay for a home improvement project and in turn the home owner pays back the loan off a period of time thru their property taxes. In doing so, my property currently has a lien on it because of this.
My question is, if I were to try to sell the home, could the loan be paid back at the time of closing with the funds from the sale? Or would it need to be paid in full before even attempting to sell the property?
Any information helps!
Thank you
