How to RE Agent in CA

Hi BP!

I have acquired some interest in pursuing my Real Estate Salesperson License in California as an extra stream of income. I currently work in IT as a Sr. IT Specialist/Network Administrator and run Fix & Flip operations in Tampa Bay/St. Pete. I have networked with dozens of lenders, agents, wholesalers, and contractors for my Fix & Flip business. I have a number of mentors that say I should go for it, I just want to know what I'm getting myself into, and hear from others.

Questions I have:

  • * What can I expect as a Real Estate Agent, what are some day to day "in office" tasks that are required?
  • * How do you become a top producer in the field?
  • * How to not be a "Bad" Realtor?

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks!
