Beginner Real Estate Agent
What does a brand new real estate agent absolutely have to know before their first transaction?

@Brett Bowers I’d think of it differently. Don’t feel like you have to know things right away. My first transaction I couldn’t tell you how little I knew. But I absorbed every little piece of information I could and eventually you get comfortable knowing the ins and outs of a transaction. Talk to agents in your office and get a general understanding and then make sure you have someone in your corner to answer questions when they come up.
If I were to offer one piece of advice for your first transaction it would be to make sure that whatever your doing it represents your clients best interests at all times. Even though that is a basic fiduciary duty, I see new agents fight more for the sale to close then for their clients best interests. If you master this you’ll be successful in no time. Good luck!
