Hi all! I just passed the exam & I’m excited to start a new adventure! I haven’t settled on an agency yet. What are some things you wish you’d known when first starting out?

Congrats & good luck!

You are a business owner now, treat your career like it.  Dont worry too much about commission splits, focus on the broker with the most support & training. That is far more important for a newer agent than a better split. Make sure all your friends and family know your an agent now. Become a very extroverted, social person, if you are not one. Learn from those more experienced than you, and be open to criticism.
