Becoming a Real Estate Agent in Florida

Hello, my name is Ben Dickinson and I recently moved to Florida to begin my real estate career. I have completed my real estate course at Tampa School of Real Estate and waiting for my application to get approved so I can take the state exam.

I am looking to join a brokerage around the Sarasota area and was wondering if anyone had advice on questions to ask when interviewing brokers. If anyone can recommend brokerages or just people to talk to that would be great too!

I also want to start my first House Hack (preferably a multi-family with 2-4 units) and begin my investing journey. If anyone knows good areas to look into or any advice in general that would be greatly appreciated!!
