Hi BP

as you all know, I just got my license. and you guys gave me some instant networking.

i was working on a list of prospect "my way" for my potential clients, no mls access.

today I finally gained access to the MLS...i was so stoked.

to my surprise....I didn't find ANY new listings (same area), totally BUMMED! lol
I thought at least one.

i used an array of different site to get these listings. the only advantage was i found out one of them was a short sale from the mls, which wasn't disclosed elsewhere. which I found out with a call to the agent.

I checked out the expired listing. they are just listings that lasped. b/c I have been following my farm area, I realize most of them lasped but are sold. OR they have been relisted. not to say they aren't leads, but they require individual attention to sort them out.

please tell me I m doing something wrong.

I am only on day 1.
Agents out there, how do you use the mls?

my DOM for most listing are left blanked
i don't know how the brokers I was interviewing with knew the offer prices of contingent listings.

I officially get access tomorrow, i was granted access by my broker to help my future clients. hopefully I get a better idea tomorrow.

i am left today wondering...license for mls...no better info than the way i did it.

only maybe more centralized info on the mls. i did have to go through a bunch of sites.

I'll keep you posted, i haven't used it to it's full potential
