Realtors showing properties; “selling” in this environment ?

Am not a realtor so how are realtors trying to sell in this environment? Are open houses out now? Or are realtors hoping someone comes along and drops the golden egg in their lap? Wondering if commission fees are warranted in this environment? Being told only virtual tours etc are being done....call me frustrated.

I don't know what it's like in your particular market, but our selling processes are pretty close to normal today. Open houses have limited capacity and people are required to wear masks and asked not to touch anything. Some owners are limiting showings to only well qualified buyers, or only after an offer is submitted. This makes lots of pictures, videos, and virtual tours more important than ever. I'm not sure I understand why commissions wouldn't be warranted. Do you think the additional restrictions are making the agents' jobs easier somehow?
