New Agent Seeking to Contribute to Strong Carlsbad Team

I originally got into real estate as an investor, picking up a short-term rental property in San Diego and Ensenada. I'm still moving forward with investing plans but became so passionate about the retail side of real estate, I recently left a successful career in corporate finance to purse a path as an agent/broker. I know I have a lot of work ahead but very excited.

I'm currently identifying where I'll hang my license and looking for a strong, reputable team to join - one I can proudly point to as a source of support while I work hard to contribute. I'm looking in the Carlsbad/North County San Diego area.

Would appreciate any suggestions or introductions that have stood out. Thanks!

Hey Spencer. Congrats on taking the step to get licensed and start a career as an agent. I have found that being licensed can be a great way to learn and improve as an investor.

When you’re looking for a broker make sure that the team you join on with can also help you as an investor and have other investor/agents you can collaborate with. That way you can use your license optimally and have it be in line with your long term goals.

I personally recommend eXp Realty. I think it’s a great brokerage for agents and investors alike.

Good luck!
