Worth a reappraisal?

My husband and I have flipped a couple of houses that we kived in and done very well. We do all the work ourselves- from plumbing to siding to electrical. We wanted to get into the rental market and start renovating houses to rent. We found a houae in need of significant repairs we were comfortable with and at a significant discount. The foreclosed "as is" house we made an offer on was appraised at C4 and the lenders declined the conventional loan due to condition of property: floors are sloped, hole in foundation, plumbing running through heat duct. The sellers are now refusing to return our escrow due to our accepting to buy the house as is, regardless that our lender wont lend to us with the house in that condition. My question is do you guys think it is worth trying another lender and appraisal or am I just wasting more money?
