Switching from a different industry to being a real estate agent

Hello everyone!

Being quite new to this forum and also just starting out as a real estate agent, I would welcome any feedback or suggestions you all have regarding my challenge.

I currently have an existing LinkedIn profile, which includes a history of all my previous roles, which all have been in the IT space (and 500+ connections).  Would you recommend I create an new LinkedIn profile for being a real estate agent, or should I keep my existing LinkedIn profile?

My challenge above is based on the fact that I don't necessarily want to announce to my connections that I'm a brand new agent but also be able to keep/leverage my existing connections.

Thank you in advance for your advice!

Anne
