Hey BP,

Aspiring realtor here! Currently on pace to have my MA Real Estate license by the end of February 2020!

Looking for any recommendations on brokerages to inquire too about getting started with.

@Jacob Briggs

Hey man! What’s your goal for getting licensed?

The most important aspect when looking for a broker is to decide on what your main goal is for being licensed. Do you want to be a full time realtor or are you trying to get started in the RE industry to learn and eventually build wealth?

One thing that should be common for all realtors is to look for networking opportunities within your company because that’s really the best and most efficient way to make connections when you’re first getting started.

I think eXp realty provides an incredible opportunity for new agents to network. They have a 80/20 split and allows 3 personal transactions per year for agents to keep 100% commission if you want to use your license to do your own transactions.

Good luck on getting your license!
