Do you recommend joining a team or starting on your own initially

Also, some things happened financially that took my savings from six to four months worth and I am wondering if, to get a paycheck sooner, joining a team would make a difference. Not sure how that all works or if commissions come quicker due to volume or anything like that.

Just when I thought id have plenty to get me by, god, a lot happened and now I am where I am. Got to get through it.
