Hello fellow agents!

I’m curious. What % do you guys charge your friends and families in transactions?

I am not a realtor, but unless its a parent child relationship, you should treat them like they treat you.

If they are an auto mechanic, do they charge you?

If they do taxes, do they do your taxes for free?

If they own a restaurant, do they charge you when you eat there?

Its your job, your income, don't short yourself unless you have an on-going relationship where neither of you charge and you both provide benefits/service.

For example one of my brothers was an auto mechanic.  He only charged me for parts and always asked me to make him certain pies/breads/ etc. in exchange for his labor.  He preferred that as he did not have time for baking, and liked the goods.  We had exchanged labor since we were kids.  I sewed him a quilt as a pre-teen and he did my chores for 2 weeks, etc.

My other brother was a carpenter.  He charged everyone, my parents included, and that was how things were done with him.
