Co-listing agent without a license?

I thought about a strategy I could use, where I basically cold call people trying to get people who want to sell their house, I call up a well known agent, who goes on the appointment and I go with him, kind of shadowing, to learn about it more, I will probably tell the agent that I’ll bring deals in for them like that for free at first, but then start taking some time f the commission. I don’t have a license, and I’m 16. Do you guys think I can make this work?

@Isaac Johnson it’s illegal for a non-licensed person to receive any part of a commission from a real estate transaction. Additionally, a non-licensed person cannot solicite business on behalf of a licensed agent. If it’s a mentorship you’re hoping for, I would find someone who’s willing to pay you an hourly wage to do things like databasing clients, clerical work, marketing, etc.  Those are all things you actually can do for an agent and get paid for without having a license.
