Did you incorporate or form an LLC? Based in Illinois.

I'm a new agent in Illinois. As a licensed agent, are you incorporated or protected under an LLC? I was planning on doing so for tax purposes as well as lawsuit shelter. Not that I plan on being negligent but RE agents are among one of the top sued professions. Also I am planning on investing shortly and will use it as a holding company. Curious as to what other agents think about the matter.
