(Repost) Looking for New Investor Friendly Agent in NYC

This is a repost. I submitted it in the wrong forum.... Still learning BP

I'm having a real difficult time finding an agent who I believe has my best interest. For example. Two weeks ago I contacted an agent concerning a coop for sale I saw. She gets back to me saying that the listing is no longer active and after decent conversation of what I was looking for, sends me listings that are no where close close to my criteria. Next thing, I know, I get an alert through Zillow that is there is a open house happening today.. SMH.

And on Friday, a 4plex short sale popped up on Realtor which I was interested in and I was contacted by another agent. I explained to her that I was interested. She gets back to me saying that the listing is also no longer active but she has some properties that can meet my criteria again....

So my question is..

1. Are some agents just in the business of bait and switch?

2. How can they say a listing is unavailable the same day is posted?

3. Are there any agents in the Queens/Brooklyn area who are willing to work with me and do lunch? I'm new at REI, but I'm a pro at eating :-D
