How will nearby development impact property value?

I own a condo in South Maui which I use as a successful vacation rental. I ran an 80% occupancy rate in 2018. Equity appreciation here has been excellent thus far. My property was purchased in 2016 and the most recent sale in the complex was for a similar unit at approximately 30% more than what I paid. Since this sale, 3 additional units have been listed at 40% more that what I paid and are now pending. Hilton Grand Vacations is building Maui Bay Villas a block away. When completed there will be 388 timeshares with sales expected to begin in the first quarter of 2020.  Should I expect additional equity appreciation related to this development?
