Writing property descriptions for Realtors?

I love real estate. I also enjoy writing. My question is if agents tend to enjoy writing their own property descriptions, or if it would be worthwhile to offer the service where they give me the details and I write out a compelling description?

@Dan Strandberg Not for me.  First, without being in the property, it's hard to understand the unique features of each property.

Second, there's a liability issue. If you misrepresent something, even inadvertently, the Realtor is liable. I don't know whether my E&O would cover me if I allowed someone else to write the description.

I agree with Charlie MacPerson's reply regarding listing remarks, but if you like writing about real estate you could look into writing blog post articles for real estate agents. I'm not sure what that market is like in terms of payment but I do know that real estate agents in general find it very difficult to regularly write and post content.

@Irene Nash That's great advice as well, thank you very much!

I should mention that I know it's a lot simpler to get a good description from personally entering the home, but I've seen a lot of listings lately that were woefully lacking information, and could have been done a lot better. I would also have it proofed by the Realtor so if there was anything that they disagreed with or was incorrect it could be fixed before publishing.

RE the listing remarks, I agree that some are very poor, however there so much information in them that is very specific to that one home's features and the market we know it is most likely to appeal to, as well as information from conversations with the seller (remodels, maintenance, what they loved about the house when they bought it, etc.) ... it's one of those things that I think would be harder to delegate. I don't mean to sound unreasonably negative. If writing articles appeals to you, I do think there's a need for that kind of thing. And if you have knowledge of SEO and power page structure that would add value, although you'd have to explain to people why. :) (Anything from Brian Dean's Backlinko site is excellent in regards to SEO - https://backlinko.com/blog.)
