Investing with a Real Estate License

Hello BP Forums,

I know the question, "Should I get my RE License?" has been discussed in depth on various forum posts/blogs/articles across BP and the web. My question is for those who have already acquired a license and are actively using it to advance their REI interests. Will you share some of your recent deals and how being an agent helped you find, fund, or close a deal? I am currently Active Duty military transitioning from the service and am taking the online courses to get my license in the great state of Texas. I plan on using my license as a means of income, networking, and for market analysis to better myself as an investor. Any advice for a new investor and aspiring agent is welcome. Thanks all!
