Radon in Chicago area properties
Hi Chicago area agents! How often and when do you suggest to your buyer to get a radon test before purchasing? Either for themselves or as a rental property.

Michelle Bright I don’t suggest it to my clients. I use the pamphlet and disclosure to educate them and let them make their own decision. I make sure they understand what it does, what the chances of having radon could be, and how they would have to rectify it. This gives them a good starting point to making the decision.
