Brokerage in Massachusetts with low fees??

Hi all-

A friend of mine is a licensed agent in Haverhill. He has been with a large franchise for several years but due to high fees is not renewing with them this year. Can anyone recommend a low cost brokerage in Massachusetts where he can renew his license and maintain MLS access? He has a full time job and is not looking for any office support, leads, or training. What is the least expensive way to retain MLS access and have the ability to do your own deals in Massachusetts? Thanks in advance for your help!

@Eric Stafford and @Steve Bracero thanks so much for the replies. I honestly don't know much about these costs because I am a new investor with no license. My sole intention is to help a licensed friend who would like to renew with someone less expensive because he is a part timer and will likely do no deals for a while. But I selfishly want him to maintain MLS access because of all the reports and info he sends me from it.
