CA Broker equivalent experience / how long to verify work exp?

I'd like to see if anyone has data points on how long it took the CA BRE to verify their work experience for the broker exam app. It has been nearly 8 weeks since I submitted my broker exam app and have not heard anything. I'm wondering if they're having issues with my equivalent work experience.

Check was cashed on 1/10, and they are now processing applications received nearly 2 weeks after that. I called and they were unable to provide any information, just that they are still verifying work experience and they will send snail mail letter if there's a problem or if it's declined.

I felt pretty confident at the time that my experience would satisfy the "intent of the law" based on their specific examples of acceptable equivalent experience as involving "...escrow/title officer...loan officer...or real property appraiser...". The experience I submitted was >5 years as a residential mortgage loan underwriter...having reviewed thousands of title reports, appraisal reports, credit/income documentation etc. that a typical title officer/loan officer/appraiser would prepare...but given how long it has been, I'm starting to have doubts now.
