Brokers/Agents, what will you do to succeed in a downturn?

Hey guys/gals,

We are hearing it in podcasts, blog posts (recently on the BP Blog), maybe around the proverbial water cooler, there is the talk of an inevitable downturn in the RE market.

Whether you believe in it or not, think of it as a hypothetical.

How would you adjust during the downturn to ensure that you are affected as little negatively as possible?

Any ideas how you may PROFIT during such a time?

Look forward to hearing what you all have to say!

Actually downturns are often good for agents.  Part timers leave the business and average commissions typically go up.
