Real Estate Agents in LA

Hello, this may be a bit not BiggerPocket's worthy question, but I am looking for some information about the LA market and actually specifically looking for a home. 

I'm a new small time investor in the East Coast, but am also first an actor and a model. This is the reason why I'm looking into the LA market for apartment/homes.

I am planning to move to LA in December or January with a few other people.
