Hello!!

I am a newly licensed agent and I would like to discuss do's and don'ts when first getting started with your business! All advice and discussion would be much appreciated!

Also would like to know how to go about wholesaling as an agent? Best way to go about it? Do or don't?

If there are any investors looking for property in NW or Central Arkansas,  I would be more than happy to meet up and discuss what you are looking for and help in any way I possibly can. I have the motivation to be successful while helping others at the same time!

I have joined an innovative company and I want to see if it would fit for new agents here on BP or even very experienced ones! This agent owned brokerage is ahead of the game in my opinion when it comes to technology and has 80/20 commission splits plus a lot more great things.  PM me if you are interested and would like to know more!

Wholesaling and having a real estate license really don't go well together.  You'll have to legally disclose that you have a license.   If you sign up working for a brokerage, do traditional real estate where you find buyers and sellers.   Since you are starting out, take it slow with buying properties for yourself.  You have to learn, so try a nice entry level project where you won't get burned.

@Kramer Stewart congrats on getting your license! From what I read there are more licensed active RE agents in NWA than there on properties for sale so I think you are working in the right direction to find a niche. However, I agree with @Brian Ploszay that wholesaling and being licensed don't really go well together. I'm not saying that it can't be done but it would seem that it might be a bit sticky. I'd say the best thing you could do is partner up with someone who is already wholesaling and see if you all can work out something to benefit both. Good luck!
