Good evening! I am a fairly new agent and looking for suggestions on Lead Generation. I know Zillow Premier offers opportunities IF you have already closed transactions.

Thank you in advance for sharing.

Hi @Jennifer Scott

I would not recommend Zillow Premier for a new agent. I did all this research three years ago when I got started as an agent, and those types of programs will literally take all your seed money. Don't waste your money on cold calling, google pay per clicks, or other nonsense like this. Get your self a decent website (I spent $100 for my first year!), and market to your "list" or "sphere".

I would recommend a simple, inexpensive book by a fellow BP member called "How to make it big as a real estate agent". It costs $14 and was the best thing for me starting out. It really got me focused on marketing to my sphere of influence first.

Also, the obvious question may be whether or not you are looking to work with investors. You are here at BP, so I will assume yes. I have been working more and more with other investors in my local Chicago market (Berwyn), and I love it! I would recommend that you consistently go to your local REIA meetings. This has been a great source of leads for me, and they are leads that keep on giving as investors like to buy multiple properties! Some of them even start to become friends over time which is an added side benefit!
