Fill in executed date on TREC contract using Digital Ink?
Hey everyone:
I have been using Digital Ink to fill out the TREC contract, but I have noticed part of the process is broken.
I am supposed to fill in the Executed Date on Page 8 after the buyer(s) and seller(s) sign the contract, but there is no way to do that. So, I can think of two solutions:
1. Fill in the Executed Date before I send the contract out for signature
2. Leave the Executed Date blank.
Option 1 has a problem. One seller took forever to sign the contract so the date I filled out (Which starts the clock for the termination period and everthing else) was pretty far in the past. That was not good.
Does Option 2 (Leaving it blank) result in a valid contract?
How have you all been handling this problem?
Thanks,
Neil
