Advice on Lead Generation

Howdy All,

I am no stranger to lead generation. I have done it online with Zillow and Trulia. I can share success stories and horror stories with both. I also dabbled with realtor.com way back, but that was more focused on getting my listings more spotlight. Of course, with over 25 years in real estate, I have done the more hands on things like door hangars, fliers, etc.

Over the last few years I have managed to do a pretty good number of deals without doing any lead generation at all - at least, not anything that costs me money. Word of mouth has been pretty kind to me.

However, I want to kick things up a notch in the passive lead generation area (IE: I pay money and leads come in) and I thought I would reach out to all of you for suggestions. Maybe even some stories about ROI for your effort with different systems. This does not need to necessarily be a source where you are paying for a certain number of leads. It could be some kind of web implementation where you are getting the leads a bit more directly, but paying for some kind of system that facilitates folks arriving and asking for more info.

Thanks,

Robert
