Unlicensed Person Cold Call to set appointments for Texas Agent?

I will be a licensed real estate sales agent in Texas (Houston) in about a month. I plan to prospect for listing clients via cold calling owners of target properties. Does anyone know if it is a violation of TX law for me to have someone who is NOT a licensed real estate sales agent make cold calls on my behalf (with the sole intention of the unlicensed person making cold calls to find homeowners potentially interested in selling their home and setting appointments for me to make a listing presentation pitch to the homeowners) as well?

"Cold Calling" Owners in which you have no "Established Relationship" is a VIOLATION of the Federal "Do Not Call" Statutes. Penalty is $11,000 per infraction. Having said that, I know of Agents that do pursue the prospecting approach you're considering. From 25+ Years experience - there are much better LONG TERM strategies of acquiring clients than "Cold Calling". Success in Real Estate Brokerage & Sales is a MARATHON Race - not a SPRINT. Cold Calling is something that will burn you out very quickly!
