Question about buyer's agent fee

Good day BP !

I have asked agents in the past if bumping up the buyer's agent fee (2.5% to 3% or higher) would encourage more showings, and I get some mixed responses.

What if a listing agent drops the standard 2.5% buyer's agent fee to 2% ? Will that discourage you from showing the property to your clients? (assuming it's a property that is in high demand and right for your client)

I am not an agent yet, I'm curious what your thoughts are. Anyone is welcome to send me a PM as well, so that it's not posted on a public forum.

Appreciate your feedback!
