Starting Real Estate Company Without Being a Managing Broker

Looking to the BP community for some advice. Our company has been investing in real estate property for some time now and I decided it would be best to get my Real Estate License. It's been a goal of mine to open up a real estate brokerage company that specializes in investments, however I'm not the most patient person. What I've learned is that in the state of Indiana (where I invest and hold a license) you have to have your license for 2 years and pass a Managing Broker course to own a real estate company. I've looked into different ways to get around the 2 year wait period but wanted to see if anyone has tried any angles to speeding up this process.

I'd love to own the company so that I have control over my brand and practices. I've looked into appealing to our commissioner, partner with a managing broker in the business, and other avenues but am open to an advice.

Any and all help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your time!
