Getting too busy - need help with delegation and organization

Hello fellow realtors,

I have problem, a good one... I'm too busy :-)

Can anyone make any suggestions on how to better stay organized and ensure that paperwork is not misplaced or forgotten, dates are not missed, etc.

What do you (other busy realtors) do to stay on top of things?  I have a quasi-assistant working under me but she is still in training.

thanks!

@Patrick Britton

I've had licensed help/assistants/transaction coordinators for the last 4-5 years.  It was the best thing I ever did.  They are much better at that stuff than I am, and it allowed me to focus on dollar productive activities.  If your person isn't taking tasks from you pro actively or you are having to retrain on things, then you might have the wrong person.  The biggest mistakes we've made are in poor hires.  It's better to miss a good hire than it is to hire a bad one.

In the meantime, see if there is an agent in your office that is slow that could handle some of the paperwork/listing entry/transaction management for you on a short term contractual basis.  This has worked as a good band aid for us in the past.
