Best way to get some experience before getting my license?
I'm in my junior year of college and after a series of events am interested in real estate as a career but I would like to shadow a local agent or something first just to see if I would enjoy it. Is this a "thing" and are agents usually open to this?
I'd love to be an assistant for an agent or something over this summer to get some experience and gather some knowledge. I'm a photographer, so I could offer free photos for their listings. Do you all think agents would be willing or interested in a sort of deal like that? If so, what's the best way to go about it? Just call them up or stop by their offices? I don't want to come off as someone who is trying to waste their time.
