I'm in my junior year of college and after a series of events am interested in real estate as a career but I would like to shadow a local agent or something first just to see if I would enjoy it. Is this a "thing" and are agents usually open to this? I'd love to be an assistant for an agent or something over this summer to get some experience and gather some knowledge. I'm a photographer, so I could offer free photos for their listings. Do you all think agents would be willing or interested in a sort of deal like that? If so, what's the best way to go about it? Just call them up or stop by their offices? I don't want to come off as someone who is trying to waste their time.

Hey my name is Ian. I am a 21 year old economics major with an interest in real estate. I found this site/podcast about a week ago and have been gathering knowledge ever since. I'm looking for guidance and/or opportunities in real estate. My main interest is being able to flip houses in the near future using a private investor, then fund them myself after I graduate.
