Aspiring agent and whole saler, conflict of interest?

I began my real estate learning this year. I'm taking the courses in new york, however i'm also interested in wholesaling also. Is this a conflict of interest? For example,  I complete my courses, get sponsored by a broker.. and start my own wholesaling business on the side at some point. Appreciate any feedback.. thank you in advance.
