Ready to make an offer!

I've found a property I want to offer on, and I have the price I know the deal will make sense at. Here is my question: I know most people will have their buyers agent extend a written offer to the selling agent/owner for them. If I am not working with a buyers agent, can I just have the sellers agent write the offer up and present it to the owner? Or should I just find an agent to extend my offer? Thanks!
