Navy Veteran Moving to Southern California

Hello BP community,

I will be transitioning from the Navy in December of this year with the intention of becoming a Real Estate Agent in the Los Angles area. By the time I leave the Navy I will have more then 6 months worth of income saved up since that's one of the most common pieces of advice I have seen throughout these threads.

I was curious if anyone knew of a Veteran program that would cover the costs of getting licensed or covering the exam fee?

I will have already taken the 3 college level courses in order to be able to apply for my license.  My goal is to have my license before I move.

I was hoping this would be a way for me to network with Southern California agents to help me find a good brokerage to work out of.

Any and all advice is welcome and I hope to hear from you all soon.

Cheers,

Adam Conole

I tried to look for something that would cover me as a Vet as well (USMC) but the best I could find were classes with a discount that didnt seem like a discount. But there are some brokers out there that will sponsor you and pay for your courses or even host the classes as long as you sign with them.
