Portland, OR Brokerages - Sponsoring Broker

Hi there,

Nearing the end of my studying for my brokers license via proschools. I plan to sit for the test for the first time in mid-Feb, so I figured it would be good to get my feelers out there.

Full disclosure, I work full-time at adidas in Portland. Are brokerages generally receptive to real estate being something their brokers might only do part time and only spend 5-10 hours a week at the office? Nice thing is I'm a workplace filled with young people who are coming up on time to buy their first house.

Ideally, i'm looking for a very flexible set up - A brokerage that is close to my current workplace, good training, investor friendly, and reasonable fees. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

there are many choices the big box companies usually have the most intense training .. but are also the most expensive.  My wife and I are at a company that is middle of the road... they are in Lake Oswego not sure were you at.. but the owners are all engaged in the business.. the manager is an attorney so she is super sharp.... and they are just really good people.

Plus they have a lead program.. I think that's the most valuable of all.. they will GIVE you leads
