I'm new to BiggerPockets, and I've been a licensed realtor in MD for 3 months now. Looking to get into the investing side of real estate. Wholesaling in particular. Looking for other local investors that I can shadow and help to learn the ropes.

I would not suggest getting into wholesaling if you are a licensed agent. 2 issues arise. The one that stands out the most is there is no way you would be able to defend a typical wholesale deal in front of the MREC from being a net listing.  The 2nd issue is of informed consent. How are you going to tell the seller of a property that I'm going to pay you X for the property but it's really worth Y. As an agent you need to inform them to the true value of the property.
