I'm looking for an investor-friendly agent in the College Station, TX area.  I also need referrals for a reliable property manager (in that area).  My goal is to purchase a great deal before my son heads to A&M for the Fall 2017 semester.  Any property manager and agent referrals are appreciated.

Yeah it seems to me too that students would prefer to stay in SFH as opposed to apartment style buildings majority of the time, unless the apartment has an incredible amenity. So I think a SFH is a safe bet in college towns.
