How can a RE agent make money and NOT sell houses?

I am thinking of following the advice of many smart investors and get my license to give a solid foundation of knowledge and the many benefits of being licensed.

Question... how can an agent make money and NEVER have to drive clients around town looking at houses?

Do you basically become a specialist as a listing agent and team up with someone who loves being a selling agent??

So... how can agent make money and never actually have to sell a house??

George

99% of the houses I sell are to investors. You don't have to drive them around, they're looking for beat up houses, and if the house is priced correctly you don't have to "sell" it to the investors.

When they're finished with the rehab, I get the listing and someone else (a buyer's agent) will sell it for you. There's nothing like a front side and a backside commission.

I understand what you mean about driving around Mr & Mrs Smith and their bratty kids all weekend only to have them decide they are going to use a "friend of a friend" to make an offer lol.
