Hello,

I just started studying for the Florida real estate exam and I was wondering how much does it cost to register foe the MLS in Florida? What are the fees real estate agents have to keep up with monthly?

Bigger question is WHY you are getting licensed?

Is it to make a career for yourself? Have access to MLS to make investments for yourself? Something to do part time for vacation money each year closing a few deals?

The cost to operate annually will depend on the brokerage you join and what you are trying to accomplish. If you are quitting a job then you need at least 6 months of reserves. So if you burn through 4,000 a month to live currently you need 24,000 in reserves while you work on putting deals together.
