Doing business as an agent under an alias?
Hi, I'm thinking about getting my license to become a real estate agent. My actual last name is a mouthfull of unmemorable vowels, so I usually do business under my first and middle name "Jeff Roberts". Does anyone one know if this will be legal as a licensed agent in Michigan? Im assuming the license would be held under my legal name, but I'd like to use my "alias" for any marketing and customer activity.

Check your state reg.s, here you have to use your legal last name, but can use a nickname as your first name, in any agent related activities/materials.
