NC commercial real estate jobs

Hi. I was wondering if anyone works for a commercial brokerage in NC and is willing to answer a few questions for me? I currently have a MA salesperson's license and am looking to relocate. Unfortunately I haven't been able to actively practice real estate while keeping a full-time job, so this will be new to me.

My questions:

- Will a company be willing to hire someone with no experience in real estate, but 5 years in electrical designing and 3 years power plant engineering?

- What is the best position to look for that has a salary (I don't mind being an assistant).
