Advice needed regarding auto insurance policy for agents
Hello everyone, I need advice from fellow realtors from California about Auto Insurance.
I am a new realtor. My broker wants me to change my auto insurance policy to commercial auto insurance policy. Also my broker wants his company's name to be included in my insurance title. I called my auto insurance company. They are not willing to add my broker's name to my title, but they are willing to change my policy to commercial policy that will increase my premium from $500 per six months to $1200 per six months on my car. It is a big increase in premium. I would like advice on this topic and would want to know how much premium are other realtors paying on their auto policies? Also which companies offer cheaper auto insurance for commercial purpose? Any advice regarding this will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Depending on your split, I would find a new broker.
I don't met clients ride in my car anymore, so not really an issue for me at this time.
