CA Broker Exam: does CPA experience count?
I am a CPA who has always specialized in real estate. I was talking to another CPA also specializing in real estate who is also a real estate broker. She was never an agent and said that her CPA experience counted to qualify her to take the CA Broker Examination. She said though that the rules have possibly changed since she got her broker's license. I will call the CA DRE on Monday, but for now can anyone shed any light? The DRE's webpage on the topic doesn't specify anything CPA-related as qualifying for the experience requirement.
