Anyone here on BP have any success stories on their first year as an agent? What market were you in? How long did it take to close your first deal? Much appreciated guys.

I got licensed in June, 2014 and closed my first deal in 10 weeks.  The average is 12 weeks in most markets.  I did 10 deals in my first year.

The "secret" isn't a secret.  Get up early, work hard, do everything you say you're going to do - when you say you're going to do it.  Call FSBOs and expireds.  Work a farm and your sphere of influence.

Above all, (with a hat tip to Winston Churchill), never, never give up.
