First mailing of 2015 and career

With 2014 wrapping up and recently becoming an agent, I'm putting together a mailing to hopefully attract some retail sellers of absentee out of state owners and maybe find a motivated seller in the process. I'm going to use this list every 4-6 weeks during 2015. My question is does anyone have any opinion on when to start the mailing? I'd like to get started right away during the first week of January but I don't know if that is to close to the holiday hangover???
