Home comparable sales
Is there a way that I could submit properties to someone and pay them for doing the comps for me? Or is there a way to get software that can do it?

Yeah, if you have a real estate agent, this is their job. But if you find one, you can't expect them to do the comps on a bunch of junk. You want to work together to make sure they are comping the best potential deals for you.

Quote from @Kenton Guidry:I would say in someplace like Tyler, you should get good enough where you don't need someone else to give you comps. I don't think you need to even probably get in that many houses to know your numbers. You should also be able to nail your rehab costs without getting bids at some point quickly. Maybe find the 10 cheapest homes in Tyler that you would want. Pay an agent $200 to get in all 10. Visit 20 open houses one weekend or two. While you're there, ask the agent what they realistically think they will get for the home. Keep track of all that.

You can also use software like dealfinder, propstream, prophawk and I'm sure others.
There are free AVMs available, but for the most part I think the free ones aren't any better than Zmate which is most often horrilble. It's so bad I think most realtors don't even ever give it consideration. I rarely look at it and certainly not for value estimates. We have a Core Logic one that is a paid subscription for relators and while it can be often, I would say 90% of the time it is amazingly accurate.
